Everest Base Camp Trek is the most desired trek for almost all the trekkers. It is the ultimate challenge and in the bucket list of many since it allows to witness the most magnificent and the tallest mountain of the globe Mount Everest(Sagarmatha) standing with the altitude of 8848m.The sensational panoramic view of the lofty mountains seen during the trek is breathtaking.


Everest Base Camp Trek one of the most challenging trek full of adventures, inspirations and thrill. Thinning of the oxygen layer due to increase in altitude might be a bit harder during journey and takes time to acclimatize but the glory of victory when you are just in front of the tall giant is one of the most unforgettable lifelong memory. The trekking area is very calm, peaceful and full of tranquility.

The trek is comparatively difficult but very worthy one to gain the most amazing experience in lifetime.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
On your first day in Nepal, you will be welcomed, and picked up directly from the airport by our staff and transported to your hotel where you will receive refreshments.


Day 2: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Today we fly to Lukla, the main starting point for trekking to Everest Base Camp. From Lukla, after walking for 3-4 hour reach the village of Phakding, a small village of Khumbu region of Nepal and located along the Dudh Koshi River. Phakding is also a main shopping area on the way to Mount Everest.
Day 3: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar
After having breakfast, your trek begins from phakding towards Namche Bazaar which takes about 5-6 hours through colorful Khumbhu village. Walking through a beautiful pine forest then crossing a suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk alongside of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. A steep ascent brings us to the prime heart land of Sherpa village – Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar
There are plenty of things to do around Namche Bazaar, and we can spend a day here acclimatizing. Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Khumbu region and has government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants and a colorful markets. In exploring Namche Bazaar, we observe traditional Sherpa life, Khumjung Hillary School and enjoy flora and founa found at such altitude. Overnight in the same lodge/teahouse.


Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Today we trek to Tengboche, a location famous for its spectacular views and unique building structures. It is also the site of an important Buddhist monastery and is also known as the home of the Sherpas. Overnight in Tengboche.


Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche
From Tengboche, we journey to Dingboche which is also very popular among trekkers. Dingboche is noted for its many stone walls and with homes being built from stones of different sizes from the entire valley. Overnight accommodation in Dingboche.


Day 7: Exploration day trip to Chhukung valley
Chhukung valley is located in the Khumbu region and is south of Mount Everest, and again caters to trekkers and climbers. Nearby are outstanding views of Makalu, the Lhotse Face and other high mountains. Overnight in a teahouse in Chhukung.

Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche
Today after having breakfast, we trek to Lobuche which is located below Lobuche Peak and just a few kilometers away from Mount Everest. Overnight in Lobuche.


Day 9: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep trek
Today’s trek begins from Lobuche after having breakfast, Lunch at Gorakshep, lodge/teahouse check-in and trek up to Everest Base Camp. The walk can be strenuous due to thin air in the high altitude. We pass through rocky dunes, moraine and streams before reaching Everest Base Camp. Upon reaching the Everest Base Camp, we see tents of mountaineers that stand out in bright colors against the monotony of gray surrounding (especially in the springs). We get back to Gorak Shep for a good night’s rest. Overnight in Gorak Shep.


Day 10: Explore Kala Patther, trek down from Gorakshep to Pangboche
We will travel to Kalapatthar, a prime location to view Mt. Everest. Afterwards, we will continue on to Pangboche which is located in the Solukhumbu District and in the Imja Khole valley. This village whose inhabitants are primarily Sherpas also contains a monastery. Overnight in Pangboche.


Day 11: Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar
Having visited Everest Base Camp and viewed Mount Everest, we will return from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar, reliving the excitement of visiting Everest Base Camp.


Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
The trail descends steeply downward so we need to walk cautiously as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. After crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi and its tributaries, the trial becomes more level and natural. After our arrival in Lukla, we stretch those sore legs and recall the experiences of the last couple of weeks. Overnight in Lukla.


Day 13: Depart early in the morning flying back from Lukla to Kathmandu
We catch early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. Our guides can help you in both souvenir shopping or sightseeing. Overnight accommodation in full board basis.


Day 14: Final departure or your Port of Destination
Your adventure here in Nepal, comes to an end today. There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photo. Our representative will drop you to the International Airport (TIA) to assist you for your final port to your home or destination.
